Top 5 makeup tips!

Hi everyone I have been absent from my blog for a while now and the reason is simply 5th year. But because I don't have much time anymore to write in big chunks, I thought I might write two blog posts this weekend and write in small chunks. Anyway I have got lovely feedback from my blog so far so thank you so much for even clicking on my blog and I have really cool ideas so stay tuned!
Today I'm going to talk about my top five makeup tips!

1. Always use a primer under foundation and a setting spray over foundation.I can't stress this enough. You all probably know this but my it keeps your makeup on for so much longer. My makeup stays on so much better with a primer and setting spray they makeup such a difference! I really like high end items for this and I feel that having a high end primer and setting spray can really make a difference with your makeup. I use the porefessional from benefit as a primer (€34 my favourite!) and  urban decay deslick for dry skin.(€28  I think! It's amazing!)

2. Always blend eyeshadow! We have all had those bad eyeshadow days where we could of blended more. If we don't blend Eye shadow we create harsh lines and well they don't look amazing.Blending eyeshadow for about 2-3 minutes on each eye can really make a difference with your eyes and really puts together a makeup look! For this I love a Crown brush blending brush called C441.

3.blend contouring! I love contouring but it's easy to look like you have a dirt patch on my face. The key is blending and not over doing the product.the brushing I  use is the Blank canvas cosmetics f 04.(it's super soft and cheap!)

4. Clear fall out with your powder on a powder brush! I don't know about you but I most likely do my eyeshadow last which means fall out! What always works for me is using my powder on a powder brush a simply sweep it off! So easy and is a life saver!

5.Conceal don't feel: I love wearing eyeliner with wings and bold lipsticks but I don't always not make a mistake. I love to conceal under my eyeliner flicks and around my lipstick to make it look so much neater! I love it! It really makes a difference.

So those were My top 5 makeup tips thank you so much for reading, I don't forget to come say on hi on twitter @ellenrose42 and on Instagram @EllenG. Also my email is Ellenrosebeauty42@gmail.com Thank you so much and I'll see you on Sunday hopefully! Lots of love , Ellen xo

REVIEW! Fuschia Makeup Products!!

Hey Hey Everyone!

Fuschia have kindly sent me some of their makeup products to review. I have tested all of these products my self and really liked them. All opinions are my own and if you have tried any of these products yourself please let me know what you thought of them because I would love to know! Also I would also like to thank Fuschia makeup for sending me these products,They are an amazing Irish makeup brand and I hope you will check out their stores!(Details at the end)
So I hope you enjoy my review and let's get started!
My favourite product I was sent was a free system palette called MYO!(Make Your Own). This palette is €40 this contains the palette/compact and 5 eyeshadows of your choice.
I really liked this palette, the shadows were very smooth and soft and applied beautifully on the lid.The shades I was given was Holly,Vickydee,Lucy,Lara and Amanda. I made a really simple pretty eyeshadow look that will be on my twitter tomorrow. I really recommend this palette so easy for traveling! If you are looking for a easy palette for on the go you such check this out! I'm defiantly going to check out a Fuschia store soon to pick up more shadows. I also love how the palette is magnetic ,So you can change the eyeshadows in the palette when your bored of the shadow or want something different!

The next products I got were two lip Lacouers in Party Girl and Love affair.I love these a lot!,their so pigmented and creaming on the lips and best of all they last age on my lips! love affair is a gorgeous light plumy colour so wearable for everyday!Party girl is more for special occasions ,it's not a shade I'd usually wear but for someone who loves bright pink shades that are long lasting you will love this! These cost €16.50.
The next product I received was a gorgeous lip duo, A lip pencil called Egg plant and a lipstick called Vamp.I love lip pencils that are soft and creamy,Eggplant was one of these. I loved the colour it's a dark purple and goes really well with vamp.Vamp is a dark red ,it's an amazing dupe for Mac's rebel! These are an amazing combo on the lips.I wore this shade to a beauty event last week and it lasted all day! The lipstick costs €13.50 and the lip pencil costs €12.95.

The next product is Loose Mineral Eye Dust in the shade full moon.I normally don't use loose shadows because I think they get very messy but I do really love this colour. This shade is a really sparkly light golden colour it's so pretty! I used it all over my lid when I finished my eye look to give the eyes a pop of shimmer. It really completed the look and looked really pretty. So if you're into the loose shadows this is a really pretty one. These cost €12.95.

I also was given an eyebrow kit, this comes with an eyebrow shadow and A wax.I really enjoyed this product! It matched my brows well and I used the wax with the same angled brush as I did with my brows and they looked amazing! So impressed because I have been looking for a good eyebrow kit for ages! I really recommend this one for sure!! The cost is €15.50.

My two last products are a Primer and a Highlighter. The primer was really smooth on my face and my foundation applied really nice with it but the staying power lasted about 8hours whichis pretty  good but average. Although it doesn't come close to my favourite the porefesstional it still is a good primer. So if you're looking for a good primer that's cheaper than the porefessional I recommend this! It does contain slight shimmer/glitter but when you put foundation over it you don't notice it at all.Moving onto the Highlighter I was really surprised with this Product.I have been using this more than HighBeam! It's more pigmented and looks nicer on my skin! It's a lovely shade of light pink it attracts the light really we'll and brightens up your face beautifully. The primer cost €22 and the Highlighter costs€25.

That is for my review on Fuschia products,If you want me to review more Fuschia products or any products please let me know.I only tried a blush palette from Fuschia before reviewing these So I was really impressed with the rest of the makeup I tired because the blush palette is amazing.Thank you for reading and if you want to follow me on twitter I'm @Ellenrose42 and my Instagram is @elleng42.My Email is Ellenrosebeauty42@gmail.com if you would like to contact me also. you can find two Fuschia stores in Ireland one in Swords in  the
Pavilions and Scotch hall in drogheda. Also you can find them on www.fuschia.ie. thank you guys so much and I'll see you next week.

REVIEW! Bourjois Paris Color Boost Balm stains

Hey Hey Everyone!
I won a competition with Bourjois and I received 4 of the Color Boost Balm Stains. So I thought I would do a review on them for you!Lets get started!

I got sent 4 of the shades they don't have names on them but they Are Peach,Orange,Pink and Red. They promise waterproof Color,SPF 15,10h staying power,Comfort and Hydration.after trying these out the past few days I really find these comforting on the lips and Hydrating. They don't have 10 hours of staying power but they do last on your lips for a long time and they aren't very waterproof but they leave your lips with a nice stain of colour that is really pretty. They say they are a bare lip sensation which is very true! The packaging is super cute and travel friendly defiantly a lip balm stain I would recommend. They are better than anything I've tried before and just at the €10 mark which is a bit more than what you would pay for a drugstore tinted lip balm but totally worth it. They are available in Boots stores at the Bourjois stands.
please let me know if you try out these products and what you thought of them! Please feel free to tweet or follow me @Ellenrose42 Also I am on Instagram @Elleng42 and if you would like to contact me for business enquiries please email Ellenrosebeauty42@gmail.com
Thank you so much for reading this post and I'll see you I'm my next one!
Love,
Ellen.

Disappointing Makeup Products!

Hey Hey Everyone!

Today I'm talking about Makeup products I didn't enjoy from high end to the drugstore!
Let's get started and I hope you enjoy!

The first item I am going to talk about is l'Oreal true match.I know it's a big favourite in the makeup world it I just didn't enjoy it at all. I felt like it sunk In to all of my pores and just didn't look good on my skin. This really annoyed me since I had huge hopes for this foundation. Its quite dear too for a drugstore foundation which is annoying.Maybe if you have oily skin it would suit your skin but for people with dry skin I wouldn't recommend it.

The next product is a lipstick from the drugstore and it's called Revlon colour stay lipstick in the shade 'Socialite'.This shade is so drying on the lips it's almost uncomfortable.I only picked up one shade so I don't know if their all bad but I hate it which is sad because it was a pretty colour and wasn't cheap for the drugstore.I also had high hopes for this since I loved the lip butters so much but anyway don't be fooled like me!

A highEnd product I wasn't too impressed with was Benefits HighBeam. It's basically a cream highlighter that will cost you around the 30€ mark.the thing I didn't really like was the pigmentation.Don't get me wrong it's totally build able and a lovely natural highlighter.I just had great expectations and I think the Me Me Me dupe is just as good for cheaper also I prefer the Me Me Me one better.

Also I wasn't too impressed by the l'Oreal super liner.A Lot of people rave about this one too but for me I found it a bit annoying. It took too long to apply and for me I had to keep dipping the felt tip brush in and out the liner a good few times until I got the line I wanted. Also it's a hard to remove after wearing it all day. Personally I like to have a liner than is quick and easy to apply on the go and it wasn't one of those liners. This liner is a bit over the 10€ mark,So a bit dearer than your average drugstore liner.

The final product is another drugstore lippy and it's called Wet n Wild's Megaslicks balm stain in the colour E125. These lip balms are really lovely on the lips, Great colour pay off, very moisturising but after a few hours they started to sting my lips.Only the dark red shade has done this too me a few  times which is really sad because I really loved it. Let me know of this has happened to you! The rest of the shades are lovely though and would defiantly recommend them!

so that is it for my disappointing makeup products. I hope you enjoyed reading and I would really love if shared my blog with your friends because it would mean a lot! My makeup must haves!

Hey hey Everyone!
So sorry I haven't posted in a week but I've been really busy! Anyway today I'm telling you what are my makeup must haves!!weather it's in my collection or my makeup bag or on the go. Let's get started!!
My first favourite is The pore fessional by Benefit!
This is an amazing primer to keep your foundation lasting all day and to minimise pores.I use this on its own or before or after makeup. Its amazing I can't go without it! The pore fessional is 34€ I think in most department stores.

My second favourite is The sleek face form palette Contouring and blush palette in the shade  light 373.The palette contains a blush ,highlighter and a contour shade. The palette is perfect for pale skin because the shades are light but they have good pigmentation. This palette is 12€ in selected boots stores. Its an fantastic palette I would recommend to anyone with pale skin and they have a palette for dark skin too Which is perfect!

My third favourite is an Essence long lasting lipstick in Natural beauty. This lipstick is so moisturising and smooth on your lips. It's a shade I wear every day and it's just  perfect everyday your lips but better colour. It would suit anyone and it's only 3€ in penny's and most pharmacies.

My next  favourite is the collection ever lasting concealer in the shade light 1.I feel like everyone raves about this but it's just amazing so long wearing and covers my dark circles like nothing I've tried before . It's only Around 6€ in boots and it's one worth picking up!

My last favourite is a new foundation I recently picked up as a girl from urban decay stopped me and asked if I wanted a free make over. She used their naked skin foundation on my skin and I fell in love! It's so long lasting and it covers redness and spots so well! You really don't need much on your face and it's so light weight! I think it's 34€ its quite pricey but if you are looking for a good foundation to buy its one to pick up! It's available in most department stores.

So that was my makeup must haves I hope you liked reading it and found it helpful. Also if you would like to contact me please feel free  to ask me questions or recommend things for me to review. You can follow me on twitter @Ellenrose42 or follow me on Instagram @Elleng42 or email me at Ellenrosebeauty42@gmail.com Thank you so much for reading and I will see you during the week byeeeee! :)

My summer makeup favourite trends

Hey hey Everyone,

Hey hey Everyone!,

It has taken me a while to think of what to write about on this blog because I want to do it well! Also I want to write about things that people of all ages will hopefully enjoy. So I thought I would share my favourite summer makeup trends. Please note that I'm writing from an iPad so I'm not quite sure how to put in pictures yet!

Firstly makeup:

One of my favourite celebrity beauty inspirations has been the one and only Kylie Jenner! The reason I'm mentioning her is because her natural makeup is fabulous! She's been rocking big lashes with little winged liner and a natural eye shadow look. Not to mention her fabulous contouring, bold brows and her natural pink toned lipstick. Basically her look is fabulous! I've just been loving her look and I've been wearing a really similar look also this summer...Thanks to her!

Moving on to bold, bright summer colours.. I've really been loving bright lips colours and Bold eyeshadow looks. So suitable for summer and they just look fabulous! I have been really including bright colours to my makeup looks this summer because it's the perfect time to wear them and they look amazing! I really recommend trying out colourful eyeshadow looks because you won't look back! Also even smudging a bit of colour on the top or bottom lash line is such a good way to start!

Highlighting and contouring:

I've been really into highlighting and contouring my face this summer more than usual because summer is where you can most work it! Contouring my nose has been my favourite this summer..I feel like it just transforms the look!I've also been loving putting a bright or light concealer under my eyes, it really makes your face a lot brighter and healthy looking!

Lashes!!:

I've really been liking lashes not really bold ones everyday but lovely natural ones! Ardel is my favourite brand they just look amazing with winged Liner or without! I feel like it really completes a look.

So that is my favourite makeup trends this summer,A lot of this trends are around all year but I really like them in summer! If you would like to share your opinion on this topic or ask me questions on anything makeup related please feel free to dm or tweet me on twitter @mellonrules42 or email me at Ellenrosebeauty42@gmail.com . By the way guys I'm starting a You Tube channel soon so I would love for you to check it out once I post the link! Thank you for reading and I hope your having a wonderful day! Xo Ellen.
